If you are facing treatment decisions and have an upcoming appointment with one of our physicians, we recommend that you review information, write down a list of questions, and then bring someone to take notes and audio-record your discussion. Studies show that these strategies can be beneficial in helping you become more knowledgeable, ask more questions about a greater range of issues important to you, and be better able to absorb, remember, and act upon the answers you get.
